Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said that state institutions are capable of dealing with the situation in earthquake affected areas of Balochistan.
In an interview he said that the government has released funds to provide tents‚ food and other basic facilities to the earthquake victims.
The Minister said many countries and United Nations had offered to help Pakistan in earthquake hit areas‚ but the government decided to face the challenge itself.
He said that the government would evolve a policy for giving priority to the earthquake affected people of Balochistan in Prime Minister Youth Schemes.
