The deadly dengue virus continues to play havoc with the lives of citizens as four more affected people died during treatment on Thursday.
According to health department, four dengue patients who were under treatment at various hospitals of Swat have died raising the death toll to 39.
The deceased were identified as Zahid Ali, Goher Alam, Muhammad Rume and Sardar.
Official statistic says that so far dengue virus has affected 10,562 people. Sources said that 6676 dengue patients were being treated at various government run hospitals of whom 562 belong to Swat.
The citizens seem to be terrified due to rapid outspread of dengue, lack of facilities in government hospitals and non availability of medicines for dengue patients.
They urged the concerned provincial government and health authorities for solid steps to bring the diseases under control.
