Director Anurag Kashyap, who is known to be bold enough to air his views publicly, has apparently deleted his Twitter account. The reason for this could be attributed to the controversy that surrounds India’s official entry to the Oscars next year. A report in Mid-Daysays that Anurag’s frustration over selection of Gyan Correa’s The Good Road as official entry to the Oscars next year has led to mud-slinging among filmmakers. It seems Anurag had not only questioned the selection committee’s choice but allegedly threatened them by tweeting, “…it better make it to the final five.” However he seems to have finally given up since his Twitter account doesn’t exist anymore.
