Support efforts to be made to tackle sectarian violence in Pakistan :State Deptt

The United States says it remains concerned about the continuing sectarian violence in Pakistan that has brought heartache to Sunnis, Shia, Christians and members of the other communities across the country.

In a statement, state department spokesperson Jen Psaki extended the deepest condolences of the United States to the families and friends of the victims of a heinous attack on a church in Peshawar on Sunday. She wished for those that were injured, a full and speedy recovery.

The spokesperson expressed that the United States joins the Pakistani and the world leaders in condemning this brutality and to support Pakistan’s efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.

She said extremist violence against innocent Pakistani men, women, and children of any faith is an assault on the universal human values.

  1. US has always been guilty of promoting extremists by showing misplaced sympathies to one group. This statement itself is such a provocation . If a Cristain goes on a killing spree he or she is just an honest to goodness criminal whereas if he or she happens to be a Muslim citizen of the same country they are immediately labled as terrorists.

  2. American elite is just like Altaf Bhai. Remove your opponents from sphere of power and create chaotisk environment and cry as the most innocent over these events. Uncle Sam create Shia government in Iraq, Northern alliance favour rule in Afghanistan and pro-Sunni support in Syria and sleep with peace. Shia Sunni conflict is a fact and den incidents are there in your favour. A very smart friend of Devil.
