Security bolstered at Quetta churches after Peshawar bombings

In wake of the Peshawar terror attack, security was put on high alert at churches in Balochistan’s capital, Quetta. Jan Buledi, a spokesman of the Balochistan government, said that Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik has directed police to heighten security at churches, temples and other places of worship in Quetta and other cities of Balochistan. Heavy police and FC personnel have been stationed at all churches in Quetta. Security personnel are asking churchgoers to go through security checks before entering the building.
