Shahbaz offers medical aid to KPK government

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has telephoned his Khyber Pakhtunkhwa counterpart Pervez Khattak and offered provision of medical teams to facilitate the victims of Peshawar blast.

According to reports, Pervez Khattak thanked Shahbaz Sharif and said he would ask for help if needed. During the conversation, Shahbaz Sharif said the medical teams are constituted, adding, they would be sent to Peshawar if the KP government sought help.

‘PEOPLE TARGETING WORSHIP PLACES ARE BEASTS’: Railways Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has said those targeting worship places are beasts and do not deserve any leniency.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday during a press conference scheduled to brief about the initiatives taken by the department under his leadership, he termed Sunday’s suicide attacks on a church in Peshawar as a conspiracy to sabotage peace process. He expressed solidarity with the Christian community.
