A high level delegation visited the Emergency Services Academy on Monday as part of their 93rd Intensive Training Program in Performance Audit.
The delegation led by DG Performance Audit Wing Faisal Ismaili comprised of Kishwar Kanwal, Sadia Yousaf, Mariam Gul, Tariq Zaman, Muhammad Qayyum, Azam Taseer, Waqar Aslam, Muhammad Mumtaz, Imtiaz Ahmad Mughal, Irshad Ali Phulpoto, Mumtaz Ali, Muhammad Saleem Shaikh, Aamir Ali Shah, Altaf Hussain Mahesar, Khan Mohammad, Syed Naseeb Ullah, Syed Izhar Ali Shah, Tanveer Ahmad, Masood Ali Hakro, Zahida Rehman, Syed Waqar Abbas Zaidi and Muhammad Inam-ul-Haq.
Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) DG Dr Rizwan Naseer said that the quality of emergency service has changed with the establishment of Rescue 1122.
The participants visited training area and inspected fire drills, first aid training, disaster management system, deep well rescue, height rescue, fire fighting in high rise building, rescue vehicles and other equipments.
RTA STATISTICS: A total of 583 road traffic accidents (RTA) were reported in Rescue 1122’s Provincial Monitoring Cell across Punjab during the last 24 hours.
Two lost their lives, 495 were seriously injured and around 212 victims sustained minor injuries.
According to details, 275 drivers, 24 underage drivers, 90 pedestrians and 344 passengers were among RTA victims. Around 118 RTAs were reported in Lahore Control Room placing Lahore at the top of the list, followed by Faisalabad (70) and Multan (81).
Out of the total 709 victims, 581 were males and 128 females. The age group of the victims range from 18 to above 40 years.
The legal authority must be taken action when the problem is increasing and it is taken very bad effect on our society. the main problem is we are not taking any social problem seriously until most of us affected by it. if we are starting take care in our family then we must be getting solution very early, in fact the actual thing is we are not going to attack by that kind of solid problem.
