A peaceful protest demonstration was held by the staff and the students of the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) on Monday to record their protest against yesterday’s attack on the Christian community at a church near the Kohati Gate, Peshawar.
The university administration and all students joined the protest to express the solidarity with the Christian community and condemned the criminal act of killing of innocent people by the militants.
The participants showed their unwavering resolve to remain peaceful and support all efforts by the Government to overcome the menace of militancy.
The Christian staff and students also lit candles in the memory of all those who lost their lives in the incident.
