A meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh is likely to be held on September 29 on breakfast in New York on the sideline of United Nations General Assembly.
Both the Prime Ministers would discuss tension on Line of Control (LoC), improvement of trade ties between India and Pakistan and other matters relating to mutual interest.
The diplomatic sources said both issues, including adopting a policy to prevent those incidents which instigate stress between India and Pakistan and elimination of lack of confidence and other important issues would came under discussion during the meeting of Pakistani and Indian premiers.
It is probable that Singh would take hard stance on terrorism as the meeting is going to take place at the juncture when general election in India is very near.
Both leaders would extend invitation to each other for the visit to their respective countries.
