Prices of various petroleum products are likely to be increased by up to Rs 4 per litre from October 1.

In the local market, petrol prices are likely to increase by Rs 4 per litre, kerosene oil by Rs 2.50 per litre, diesel by Rs 2 a litre and light diesel oil by Rs 2.15 a litre.
