As many as five militants were killed and several others injured on Sunday in an explosion in the main office of banned Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) in Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency.
Levies Forces said the blast occurred in Nala Khajori area. As a result, five militants including central spokesman of the banned outfit, Younis Khan alias Abu Rasheed Lashkari, were killed and several others sustained injuries.
Those who were killed include three members of Lashkar-e-Islam and two of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) belonging to Tariq Group. The office of the militants was also badly damaged.
