British lawmaker of Kashmiri origin, Lord Nazir Ahmed, said on Saturday he had collected evidence of corruption in several developmental projects in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and would share it with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
While presenting the documents before media, he alleged that Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Majeed and his cabinet members were involved in a mega-corruption scandal.
He called for taking steps to ensure transparency in the utilisation of developmental funds so that the area people could enjoy the benefits.
Nazir said that action under criminal act should be taken against those involved in corruption.
