The 4th National Youth Peace Festival (NYPF) 2013 under the theme ‘One Nation, One Agenda: Democracy and Peace’ will be held between September 26 to 28 at the Ali Institute of Education, Ferozepur Road,
Addressing a press conference at the Lahore Press Club on Saturday, NYPF focal person Muhammad Shahzad Khan said that the peace festival was being held by Chanan Development Association (CDA) in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF), Youth Peer Education Network (Y-PEER), Pakistan and Karachi Youth Initiative and will be attended by over 500 members.
The festival will include panel discussions, skill building workshops, theatre and cultural performances, dialogue with religious leaders and parliamentarians and recognition of peace and human rights activists.
