- 2 new born baby girls found abandoned wrapped in plastic bag
Two newly born baby girls were thrown away by their parents in two separate incidents.
A new born baby girl was found wrapped in a plastic bag near Rewaz Garden. The baby was immediately shifted to Mayo Hospital’s emergency department for treatment. Doctors said that the new born was suffering from breathing problems after being wrapped in the bag for quite a while.
Similarly, in rescue workers found another newborn baby girl from Nishtar Colony in similar conditions. The baby was shifted to the hospital for medical treatment.
Experts said that the babies wither unwanted or were thrown away for being girls. They also suspected poverty to be one of the reasons for such actions.
