At least seven security personnel were injured on Friday when a blast occurred near their convoy which was passing through Sibi.
According to police, a bomb, possibly an improvised explosive device (IED), went off near the security forces’ convoy, injuring seven, including a Sibi Security Scouts commandant.
A security vehicle was also damaged in the explosion.
Rescue teams took the injured to hospital as the police cordoned off the area.
