Rescue 1122 initiates survey of “High Rise Billboards”

Emergency Service, Rescue 1122 has initiated the survey of large “High Rise Billboards” in the city in an attempt to remove such billboards from becoming a hurdle in the way of a rescue operation.

District Emergency Officer Dr. Abdul Rehman while presiding over the meeting of Rescue 1122 in Rawalpindi said that all roads near business centers, and important squares will be expanded as much as possible to provide services in emergency cases.

Dr. Rehman said that billboards fixed on the huge buildings of the city, especially on Murree road, Commercial market, Sadr Cantt, Raja Bazar, Fawara Chowk, Sadiqabad, Chah Sultan and Rawal road could become cause of any unpleasant incident.

These towers and billboards will be removed as they could become sever hurdles during rescue operations
