Lack of anti dengue virus spray arrangement in private schools all over the district Rawalpindi has posed health hazards for the students.
Private schools are operating in every Mohalla and street of Rawalpindi city and its suburbs in thousands but no arrangement has been made either by the school management or by the government to carry out any anti dengue virus spray therein. Most of the schools are functioning in narrow lanes and they lack cleanliness system. The rooms are not airy in most of the private schools and they appear to be cages of birds and homes to fatal diseases.
Some schools are working in two or three rooms and their management does not have adequate financial resources to arrange for anti dengue virus spray. However, many of the schools which are owned by affluent persons also stand neglected in terms of such sprays.
The parents of students have demanded the government to arrange anti dengue virus spray on war footing to protect their children against deadly dengue virus.
