State Bank Governor Yaseen Anwar has dispelled impressed that rupee devaluation had anything to do with agreement reached with the IMF.
Talking to media here on Thursday, he said the government had received first tranche of loan from the IMF, and situation at stock market would be stabilised soon. He further said the government had nothing to do with the devaluation of Rupee against Dollar.
