A four-year-old boy was allegedly molested by his school principal in Faisalabad on Thursday.
The four-year-old boy, studying in the first grade of a private school, was subjected to sexual assault by his principal, reported a private TV channel.
As the condition of the minor was reported to be critical, relatives and local residents staged a protest on the streets of Faisalabad’s Ghulam Mehmoodabad area and also burned tyres blocking road access.
Protesters maligned the school where the assault took place and even broke its windows and doors.
Following the attack, the school was shut down and later the students of the institution also joined the protest.
A heavy contingent of police personnel reached the site and managed to gain control of the situation.
Meanwhile, the accused was arrested and was put in jail in the Gulberg Police Station.
