A 68-year-old Pakistani man died just after arriving in Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj (pilgrimage). He is the first Muslim pilgrim to die during this year’s Hajj season that starts next month, newspapers reported on Thursday.
The man had felt severe pains in the heart while flying from Pakistan to the Western Saudi Red Sea port of Jeddah to perform pilgrimage in Makkah.
“He died of a heart attack just after arrival. His family said he had wished to die in Makkah,” Alsaudeh Arabic language daily said.
