Chairman Senate Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari has said that Pak-India people to people contact will help promote prosperity‚ peace and stability in the region.
Talking to the visiting Indian parliamentary delegation, led by Mani Shanker Aiyar in Islamabad‚ Chairman Senate said that the solution of bilateral issues through meetings between people’s representatives is in the interest of the people of both the countries.
Speaking on the occasion‚ the head of the Indian parliamentary delegation Mani Shanker Aiyar said that Indian circles are happy over peaceful transition of power in Pakistan. He said that the ground realities show that both the countries are serious in finding solutions to problems.
