‘BOP most successful financial institution in Pakistan’

The Bank of Punjab President, Naeemuddin Khan, said this while addressing the audience at the inauguration of BOP’s Officers Learning and Development Center at MM Tower, Gulberg, which was attended by the bank’s group heads and senior officials.
While addressing the audience, Naeemuddin Khan said that the BOP was rated amongst the most successful financial institutions in Pakistan. The bank’s administration, while adhering to the guidelines of the State Bank of Pakistan, not only actively updates its financial policies from time to time in line with the latest technological trends prevailing in the industry, but also played a vital role in contributing to the economic development of the country owing to its state-of-the-art services. The bank is renowned for its strong decision making capabilities even in the most challenging circumstances, and it is always actively involved in the practice of improving its performance and services. Set up to offer training as per the latest trends of the banking industry, the Learning and Development Center aims to boost the performance of the bank’s employees in order to provide even better service to its customers. The Learning and Development Center will impart the skill of serving customers with excellence while dealing effectively with the most crucial financial challenges.
Naeemuddin Khan further added that 309 ( including Islamic Banking ) BOP branches were providing state-of-the-art banking services to its customers nationwide, especially in the province of Punjab, while the bank’s many branches in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, and Baluchistan were also playing a key role in facilitating and promoting industrial, trading and agricultural practices in these provinces. Every year, the bank provides loans for the procurement of wheat, construction of houses, and purchase of transportation vehicles, while the BOP’s farmer-friendly schemes for facilitating agricultural practices and ensuring the prosperity of farmers had also been widely appreciated.
