Chief Minister KPK Pervez Khattak and Speaker Asad Qaiser from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will have to surrender their party posts after growing pressure from the party, Pakistan Tehrik Insaf (PTI) sources revealed on Wednesday. The new party policy dictates that an individual must occupy one post at a time; either a PTI post or a governmental seat. This policy will come into force at the central executive committee meeting next week in Nathiagali. Pervez Khattak, who was earlier adamant to keep his post as the general secretary PTI, accepted the party demand to leave the post. He has demanded that Jahangir Khan Tareen be appointed the next general secretary of PTI.
