The Supreme Court (SC) has issued notices to the federation and Balochistan government in a case seeking to grant bail to former president Pervez Musharraf in Bugti murder case.
A two-member bench, led by Justice Nasirul Mulk, heard the case. During the hearing, Musharraf’s counsel argued that neither his client has any connection with Bugti murder case nor he committed the murder.
He said that his client was under custody for last three months in the case, and therefore his plea for bail should be accepted.
On this, the court said, “Court cannot give decision without hearing the argument of opponent party, federal and Balochistan government, notices will be issued to them and after that hearing will be conducted.”
Later, the court issued notices to the federation and Balochistan government and sought reply in 15 days.
