The National Assembly was informed on Wednesday that a decision has been taken to open Khokhrapar/Munabao route for normal trade between Pakistan and India.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Shaikh Aftab Ahmad, informed the House during question hour that there are issues related to developing infrastructure at Khokhrapar/Munabao.
He said governments of both the countries are working on it. From Pakistan, the Ministry of Commerce has been designated to deal with this issue. He hoped that within three months the government will be able to finalize the mechanism to initiate talks on this matter.
