Front man of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Member National Assembly (MNA) Javed Hashmi has demanded that the servant quarters of parliament lodges should not be as they are in usable condition.

On Wednesday, talking on the point of order in the National Assembly (NA) Hashmi said that the servant quarters of parliamentary lodges are being demolished to give benefit to the contractors and billions of rupees will be spent on the reconstruction of these quarters.

Speaker NA Ayaz Sadiq said that, until now he has rejected Rs. 5 billion worth unnecessary projects including offices in parking areas. However, this project was approved by previous government and therefore he was setto approve it.

Javed Hashmi pleaded to the Speaker NA to take notice of this issue and save billions of rupees of the nation.
