The Indian government has announced that it will release nine Pakistani prisoners and they will be handed over to the Pakistan Rangers at Wagah border, an Indian official said on Wednesday
After the release of 100 Indian prisoners by Pakistan last month, India as a gesture of goodwill, will also release nine Pakistani prisoners, the official said.
The prisoners were arrested by Indian security forces for violating the land and sea borders between the two countries.
