The Executive District Officer Municipal Services, Zaheer Ahmed, has banned dumping of waste and construction material at vacant lots.
In view of this policy, he instructed all police inspectors that strict action should be taken against those who are involved in throwing Garbage and debris in vacant lots around cities and towns.
Cases are to be registered against violators and if found guilty they would be sentenced to jail.
Spokesman of Town Municipal, Tahir Mehmood Khan, said that action would also be taken against all public janitors who throw garbage at the roadside.
