4 Dengue infected patients admitted to Islamabad hospitals

Despite anti dengue measures, four dengue infected patients have been admitted to various hospitals in the federal capital during the past 24 hours.

According to the chair of the Dengue Fever Control Surveillance Cell, District Health Department Islamabad, Dr. Najeeb Durani, four patients suffering from dengue have been admitted to various hospitals in Islamabad since yesterday.

A total of five patients are under treatment in hospitals out of which one is in PIMS, one in FG Poly clinic, and three are in Shifa International hospital.

He told the citizens that they should try to ensure effective measures to eliminate this epidemic and put in extra effort to clean their homes and cover pots, pans and buckets filled with water

He further claimed that the Dengue campaign is continuing successfully in the outskirts of Islamabad and female health workers are also going door to door to create awareness about the deadly virus amongst the community.
