Two criminals, Syed Zeeshan Ali and Muhammad Mustaqeem of Gulbahar, were killed in an alleged police encounter near Hawks Bay in Musharraf colony on Tuesday.
The police recovered a motorcycle and 2 TT pistols from them. According to the police official, they stopped the two while they were boarding their motorcycles near Hawks Bay when the culprits opened fire on the police. The police, in retaliation, also fired shots at them, killing them on the spot.
The police shifted the dead bodies to Civil Hospital for autopsy. After completing medical and legal formalities the bodies were handed over to their families.
