Still no clue of child’s rapists

The condition of the five-year-old girl who was raped and thrown outside Sir Ganga Ram Hospital is said to be improving.
Doctors said that the girl would remain in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a few more days owing to severe mental shock.
They also said that the health of the minor girl was relatively stable. “She is improving quickly and has started taking meals from today,” said a doctor, adding that a child psychiatrist would visit her in the next few days.
Earlier, the girl was found outside the hospital around 8pm on Friday, a day after she went missing from a low-income neighbourhood area of the city. CCTV footage showed that an unidentified man, while carrying the girl entered the hospital premises from Gate 2 at 6:49 pm. She seemed fully conscious and unharmed at the time. The man left her in a vacant corner of the parking area and walked out from Gate 3 of the hospital.
The CCTV footage showed that the girl remained there for some time till a security guard spotted her lying unconscious and brought her inside. After seeing the footage police suspect that the girl was assaulted.
Human rights workers and NGOs have staged countrywide protest rallies demanding the arrest of the culprits. Widespread outrage dominated social media while private TV channels prominently broadcasted reports on the girl and her ordeal. Moreover, the CCTV footage has raised many questions about the culprits involved in the rape.
Investigations are still underway and several suspects have been detained. Two additional hospital security guards were probed by the police. However, the unidentified culprits still remain at large.
