Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan has adjourned the hearing of Karachi Lawlessness case till September 19 by bringing change in its roster.
Notices for Sep 19 hearing have been issued to all concerned parties by SC including the leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) , Babar Ghouri, who had pleaded to SC to become the party in this case.
The hearing of Karachi lawlessness case was to be held on Sep 18 in Karachi registry; however, it will now be held on Sep 19.
Larger bench of SC headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry will hear the case. All concerned parties including Chief Secretary Sindh, I.G Sindh, D.G Rangers, and Additional Chief Secretary interior have been issued notices by SC. SC has also issued the notices to the authorities of Cost Guards and Maritime for Sep 19.
