University of Veterinary and Animal Science (UVAS) has planned a scientific poster exhibition and various other technical activities at the Poultry Expo (IPEX-2013, Pakistan) to be held next week.
The postgraduate students of UVAS including students of other universities and research institutes will display applied and field-oriented research at the exhibition.
Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA) will organise the Poultry Expo at Expo Centre, Johar Town from September 26 to 28.
PPA has allotted exclusive space for poster presentation of original applied research conducted by university students especially on resolving the problems of Pakistani poultry sector. UVAS will also set up a stall in which extension and research literature would be available for consumer education.
Students from DVM, BS Poultry Science and postgraduate programmes will participate in technical sessions. A Bird Show will also be held at the Expo.
UVAS Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha said that the Expo will benefit students in advanced research and knowledge in poultry sector nationally and internationally.
