A woman and two children were killed and many passengers wounded on Monday when a gas cylinder exploded in a van near Dera Ghazi Khan in rural Punjab.
A gas cylinder explosion near Dera Ghazi Khan resulted in the death of a woman and two children in addition to a number of injuries.
Police and rescue sources said a passenger van, carrying at least 20 people, was going to somewhere when its CNG gas cylinder exploded and the vehicle immediately caught fire.
The terrified passengers jumped out of the burning van to save their lives. Many of them suffered burn wounds.
Rescue team members said a woman and two children were critically injured and died before they could be taken to hospital.
