At least six people were killed and seven others injured in separate roof collapse incidents in Malakand and Sargodha due to heavy rain late on Sunday night.
According to the reports, the roof of a house located in Chappai area of Batkhela caved in as the area received heavy showers.
As a result a woman, her two sons and two daughters were killed while four others including the house owner Abdul Rehman and his three other sons were injured.
The relatives and local people on self help basis pulled out the bodies and the injured from the rubble and shifted them to Batkhela hospital.
Meanwhile, a man was killed and another three injured in roof collapse in Fatima Jinnah colony of Sargodha. The injured were rescued and taken to hospital.
