More than 10 NATO oil tankers torched

Some unidentified miscreants torched more than 10 NATO oil tankers in Baluchistan.

According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire at the NATO tankers while they were parked at a hotel, some five kilometer away from the NATO Hub.

The oil tankers caught fire after the attack. No one was killed or wounded in the incident. The attacker escaped from the scene after the incident.

The fire also engulfed other vehicles parked at the hotel. The staff marinating the oil tankers also remained unhurt. The RCD Road was blocked after the incident causing a huge traffic jam.

Road transport to NATO troops in landlocked Afghanistan resumed through Pakistan less than two weeks ago under tighter security after a five-month suspension due to attacks.

Pakistani contractors had stopped driving oil supplies from Karachi to the Torkham crossing on the Afghan border due to frequent strikes on their vehicles.
