7 dengue-afflicted districts declared calamity-hit areas in KP

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has declared seven dengue-afflicted districts as calamity-hit areas of the province.
Dengue afflicted patients’ tally has mounted over 3,000 in Swat and KPK regime has declared all seven districts of Malakand Division as calamity-hit areas of the province.
The KP Health Ministry has imposed emergency in all hospitals of District Swat, Buner, Shangla, Chitral, Malakand Division, Upper dir, and Lower Dir.
KP Health Minister Shaukat Yousafzai said the provincial government would provide free treatment to all patients in these areas.
The deputy commissioners of all dengue-afflicted districts have got power of relief commissioner to tackle with this menace promptly, he added.
