Nisar, Qaim agree to continue targeted operations in Karachi


Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah have discussed the progress of targeted operations in Karachi.

Per details, Nisar said that no political pressure would be accepted from anyone, adding that no one would be allowed to carry out protests and strikes which could affect the peace process in Karachi.

Qaim expressed satisfaction over the communication link between the police and Rangers. He said the provincial government had not accepted any political pressure while appointing police officers.

The chief minister also thanked the interior minister for supporting the targeted operations to curb terrorist activities in Karachi.
