ANP casts aspersions on KP govt’s APC

The spokesman of the Awami National Party Spokesman, Senator Zahid Khan, has said that his party will decide to participate in the All Parties Conference (APC) called by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government after its announcement.

Saying anything right now would be premature, he added.

Talking with Online on Sunday, he said the mysterious silence of Imran Khan, KP government and Jammat-i-Islami on the martyrdom of army general in the terrorism act created many questions. The political stunt of the APC by the KP government had been crafted to divert the attention of the people from the genuine issues, he added.

He said the Taliban were present in the tribal belt, which comes under the jurisdiction of federal government, but it was unintelligible that why the provincial government was interfering in the matter. Zahid Khan claimed that there was not a single Taliban in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“The ANP’s participation in the APC depends on its agenda,” the spokesman added.
