Govt’s 100-day performance unmatched: Pervez Rashid

Information Minister Pervez Rashid on Saturday said that the government believed in negotiations for the resolution of terrorism and Balochistan’s issues.
Addressing a function at Rawalpindi’s Anjuman Faizul Islam, Rashid said that the government would make Pakistan a strong and peaceful country by pursuing the policy of negotiations.
Furthermore, while talking to media personnel, he said that the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) government was committed towards eradicating the menace of terrorism, for restoring peace in Karachi and for overcoming the country’s energy crisis.
He said that the PML-N government had accepted these issues as challenges and was making all-out efforts for resolving them on a war-footing.
Moreover, Rashid said that the government would implement the Supreme Court’s directions for the appointment of the National Accountability Bureau’s Chairman. Rasihd also said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had directed Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to contact Opposition Leader Khurshid Shah in this regard.
He said that the 100-day performance of the new government was unparalleled.
