Tanishaa Mukerji may not have a Bollywood career to speak of, but she is all set to give showbiz another shot. The actress is working on a Marathi film produced by Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi’s Grazing Goat Pictures. Apart from this, she recently made her theatre debut in Divya Palat’s play The Verdict and now she is considering an offer to join the next season of ‘Bigg Boss’.
However, this has not gone down too well with her mother, sister and brother-in-law, who have so far been supportive of her every move. Kajol and Ajay Devgn are not comfortable with the idea of ‘little’ Tanishaa fighting it out on her own in the Bigg bad Boss house and according to sources, on Monday the trio had a heated argument at Ajay’s Juhu residence.
The couple tried to dissuade Tanishaa from joining the reality show, but she stuck to her guns. A source explained, “It’s not a family feud. They are just concerned about Tanishaa. Being the youngest in the family, at times she takes hasty decisions that do not go down too well with the rest of the family. They are very protective about her do not want her to be a part of a TV show where almost every contestant gets involved in some kind of controversy.” Tanishaa’s mother and veteran actress Tanuja, who has been in Vancuover for some time now, is flying down to Mumbai. The source added, “Tanishaa’s mother is expected to be back by Friday. Like Kajol and Ajay, she too has had her share of discussion with Tanishaa. It is to be seen if she is able to convince Tanishaa once she is here.”
