Rangers launched targeted operation in Pakthonabad and nabbed 5 persons of banned outfit while also apprehended alleged extortionist from Shah Nawaz colony here on Friday and two persons were shot dead in incident.
Rangers arrested five persons of banned outfit in the area of Mangopher at pakhtonabad and recovered 6TT pistol, 49MM and 9 riffles.
Rangers also raided in the house of MNA of Pakistan people’s party namely Shah Jahan Baloch and also started thorough search of his house and other adjoining houses and Police also raided in the area of Ajmer Nagri and arrested allege extortionist Muhammad Younas red handed and two other accomplice Rafiq, Rana fled away from the scene successfully.
Meanwhile, 5 other criminals were arrested from Orangi town that were involved in street crimes and robbery incidents while also recovered a huge cache of arms ammunition from them.
Three more accused were nabbed from Clifton Guzri who were involved in street crimes while 100 more criminals were arrested who were involved in corruption and other crime cases.
On the other hand, one dead body of man packed in gunny bag was recovered from Orangi town and one more man killed in Qazafi Chowk.
Police registered the case and then they started methodical investigation.
