A foreigner arrested from the Punjab University (PU) hostel was found to be affiliated with the al Qaeda, sources said on Wednesday.
Per details, the arrested accused is an Arab but his country of origin is yet unknown.
Sources said eight people have been arrested on the information provided by the detainee.
Pictures of Aafia Siddiqui and al Qaeda leaders were recovered from the foreigner’s hostel room, intelligence sources said.
A PU student organisation activist was also arrested on the detainee’s information.
