- Election Tribunal adjourns hearing of NA-125 rigging case till 18th
Election Tribunal (ET) on Thursday has given more time to Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique for submitting his reply against alleged rigging in NA-125 constituency in general elections till September 18.
The ET was hearing case of alleged rigging in NA-125 leveled by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
A petition was filed by PTI leader Hamid Khan against Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader in the election tribunal.
During the hearing, the petitioner leveled allegations on the winning PML-N candidate Khawaja Saad Rafique for rigging in the polls.
The petitioner told the tribunal that Saad Rafique helped the people for rigging in the constituency. However, Saad Rafique’s lawyer requested the court to give more time for submitting his client’s reply in this regard. The court adjourned the hearing till September 18.
