Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Tuesday directed the ministry to work seven days a week to better tackle the country’s security situation. According to a press release, the ministry has already been working 7 days a week since Nisar took over as the interior minister, however formal orders to the effect were passed yesterday. It said the senior officers and their subordinates would have to work on rotational basis to prevent wearing out and fatigue. The duty roster has been approved and administration wing has also been directed to provide every possible facility in this regard, it added.
