65th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam observed with reverence

The 65th death anniversary of the father of our nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was observed with reverence all over the country on Wednesday.

Quran Khawani was held at the Quaid’s mausoleum in Karachi. Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat ul Abad, chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and members of provincial cabinet visited the mausoleum and laid floral wreaths over Quaid-e-Azam’s burial site. Political, social and literary institutions organized special functions to pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam.

Pakistan National Museum is holding an exhibition in Karachi wherein pictures and historical documents pertaining to Quaid-e-Azam and the Pakistan movement have been put on display.

A 3-day exhibition of rare pictures of the great leader was held at the Lok Virsa museum in Islamabad.

Special programs were broadcast by Radio Pakistan and electronic media to pay homage to the father of nation. Excerpts from Quaid-e-Azam’s speeches were broadcast during special transmissions.

To work to on’es fullest potential was the message of the great leader and he succeeded in achieving a separate homeland, Pakistan for the Muslims of the sub-continent by adhering to this philosophy. He laid out the principles of unity, organization and faith for the nation to make headway on the path to progress and development.

  1. Recently a recording of a speech made by the Quaid was found in India..it was digitized and placed on You Tube for all to hear….except for people in Pakistan where You Tube is banned…..this speaks volumes about how religious intolerance has ruined the dream of the founder of your country…
