UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has urged the Syrian government to immediately transfer chemical weapons and chemical precursors to a safe place within the country to be destroyed.
Talking to newsmen in New York‚ he said he will propose to the Security Council to demand Syria to destroy its chemical weapons if UN inspectors conclude that such weapons were used in an attack in a suburb of Damascus.
