IHC annoyed over extortion cases in vegetable markets

Justice Shaukat Hussain Siddiqui of Islamabad High Court (IHC) has expressed annoyance over extortion cases in vegetables market of the federal capital.
While hearing a money extortion case in IHC on Monday, he also expressed displeasure over absence of Islamabad deputy commissioner. Islamabad IG and CDA chairman appeared in the court. The IG, while admitting the extortion money cases in the area of vegetable market, said that the matter relates to collection of extortion money amounting to Rs 4.5 million between two groups. The court while allowing 10 days to CDA chairman and Islamabad IG to resolve the matter, adjourned the hearing of the case till September 18.
