Two killed in Quetta blast

At least two people were killed and five others injured in a bomb blast in Quetta on Monday.

According to police, the blast took place near a grid station on the city’s Sariab Road where a remotely controlled explosive device, planted in a parked bicycle, exploded.

Two people were killed on the spot while five others sustained injuries.

The police and rescue personnel shifted the injured to a hospital where the condition of some of the injured was stated as critical.

The police and security forces personnel have cordoned off the area and started investigation.
