Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that resolution of problems faced by overseas Pakistanis is the government’s top priority and all available resources would be utilised for the purpose.
Addressing a luncheon hosted by Muslim League Middle East President Chaudhry Noorul Hassan, Sarwar said the national agenda would be presented in the All Parties Conference (APC).
“Restoring peace in the country, especially in Karachi is among the top priorities of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led federal government,” he said.
He said the Punjab government was committed to encouraging foreign investors in various sectors by providing them security and the required facilities.
Commenting over the problems faced by foreigners, Sarwar said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had established a complaint cell to remove any hurdles faced by the foreign nationals.
